The small fishing town of Padstow, home to the World famous 'Rick Stein's Sea Food Restaurant' is just a short drive away. From here you can relax on the sandy beaches, or take the passenger ferry across the estuary to Rock, St. Enodoc's Church and Daymer Bay.

Roskear is a central location, for those who wish to explore Cornwall premier resorts, such as Truro with it's cathedral, restaurants and the Hall for Cornwall theater or St. Ives and the Tate Gallery. Penzance and Falmouth are great places to visit as well as the Eden Project which is nearby and a fantastic day out.

Bodmin Moor can bee seen in the background of many scenic views in the area, most of which is open access for walking and horse riding. The North Coast of Devon and the rugged wilderness of Dartmoor are also within striking distance .
